MEXT Japanese Government Scholarship 2021 has been declared by the Japanese government for all countries. The Monbukagakusho MEXT Scholarship will include 9,500 scholarships to Japanese students pursuing undergraduate, master’s, training, Ph.D., or doctoral degrees. MEXT Scholarship is the Japanese government’s most well-known and largest scholarship program. During the scholarship era, the Japanese government will cover all expenses.
The Good News is that Knowledge of the Japanese Language and IELTS/TOEFL isn’t Mandatory for the MEXT Japan Scholarship. You’ll Study in Japan without IELTS/TOEFL. All-Academic fields and Majors are available to review. The applicants can attend either of Japan’s universities to study. The MEXT Government Funded Scholarship was awarded to 9,423 foreign students last year.

Fields of Study
As stated earlier, the Japanese government makes a wide range of study options available at Japanese universities, ranging from science to engineering, medicine to health, arts and humanities, and so on. There are no restrictions on Academic Fields.
Financial Coverage
The MEXT Japan Scholarship may be a Fully Funded Scholarships for International Students to review in Japan for free of charge. The Japanese government is going to pay all the costs.
Allowances: Monthly Stipend Allowance, Preparatory Allowance (2022 Rate)
MEXT will cover the costs of the entrance examination as well as tuition fees at universities.
Travel Expenses: Transportation to Japan: MEXT will pay for your round-trip airfare from your home country to Japan. For the trip, the airline fare would be an Economy-class ticket.
Arrangements: Universities have residence halls for foreign students.

General Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be citizens of a country in which Japan has diplomatic ties.
- Applicants who are Japanese citizens at the time of application are ineligible.
- Applicants, in theory, must are born on or after April 2, 1985.
- Applicants who have completed 16 years of faculty education in a country other than Japan are eligible for the master’s program.
- Applicants who have completed 18 years of faculty education in a country other than Japan are eligible for the doctoral program.
- Language: IELTS/TOEFL and Japanese language knowledge are not needed. You no longer need to be concerned about IELTS or TOEFL.
